For his 10th birthday (month, that is), I thought it would be fun to share a day in the life of Cooper. He's extremely busy these days and only slows down long enough to eat or sleep, if we're lucky. Here goes:
Wake up, stand and bounce in crib until mommy comes ... squeal with delight ... point point ... clap ... point point and scream if I don't get my way ... crawl, look behind to make sure noone sees me, crawl faster ... pull up on coffee table, open drawer and empty contents ... crawl crawl crawl ... throw a ball ... clap clap clap and point ... make a funny noise by putting hand to mouth ... laugh loudly and squeal ... diaper change (scream at disgust of being still) ... pull up on everything in sight and bounce with excitement ... throw everything out of laundry basket ... stick out tongue and blow ... say dada 10 million times ... open and shut door ... point point and point some more ... and so forth until night time.
I can only describe him as "spunky." He got his first time out at daycare for pulling someone's hair this week. That means he got moved from the play pen to an exersaucer, but still his first time out.
PS - he stopped sticking his tongue out after he cut his first teeth. He cut 4 teeth in 4 weeks. We don't do anything small around here.
never forget the healing
