Well, we knew it was coming. First we called him a toddler. Next he'll be walking. That's just the order of things. Unless you're super-advanced (like myself). Then you walk before you're a toddler. And even though my kid is absolutely 100% genius (like me), he is only now beginning to take his first steps.
He has gone from being a really good cruiser, to working up the nerve to throw himself into your arms if you're within reach. This accidentally led to him taking 6 big steps to his daddy last night. Which he never did again.
All because he was excited that daddy put on a ball cap, which somehow - he associates with going outside. And you know, the grass is always greener on the outside.
Give us a week. He may be "toddling" soon.
